Performances

Groupe Afric Azolou (11:30 am - 12:00 pm) - Four talented performers provided music and dance with costumes of West Africa. After their scheduled performance, the group performed during the presentation of the Fihankrahene, providing background music and color.

Fihankra Hene (12:10 pm - 12:40 pm) - The chieftain of Fihankra International (Nana Kadwo O. Akpan I Fihankrahene), from Ghana, Africa captivated the audience with a half-hour presentation. There was a greeting from the Kings and Queen Mothers of Africa, a definition of Diasporans, Citizens of FIhankra, and a description of the Atonemen that took place in 1994 and what has been accomplished.

Taiwan ROC Aboriginals Economics and Cultural Exchange Association and Taipei Multicultural Arts Group (12:50 pm - 2:20 pm, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm) - These organizations, which are well-respected as two of the top indigenous cultural and performance organizations in Taiwan sent a delegation of about 32 participants and officials. Visitors to the event were in for a treat with dance performances from many of Taiwan's tribes represented as well as sculpture exhibits.
