Art Exhibit of Purple Petal by Hedy (Yudaw) Domzalski - Hedy Yudaw was raised as a member of the Truku tribe in the Hualien area of Taiwan. She studied at Cal Arts in Los Angeles, California and has become an accomplished artist and animator. She is bringing an exhibit of paintings that will capture the style of her tribal people. She will be exhibiting artwork used in her animated film, "Purple Petal."
Atayal Facial Tattoo Photo Exhibit by Kuei-Shih Tien - Photographer Kuei-Shih Tien of Hualien, Taiwan has dedicated his life to photographing the beautiful facial tattoo culture of the atayal tribe of Taiwan. The facial tattoos were a practical and essential part of the culture of this tribe. This exquisite collection of 20 photographs will be on display.
